We hope these criteria will help you determine whether your request is a good fit for Deschain Cellars and save you the time of submitting a request we may not be able to consider.

At Deschain Cellars, we believe in supporting the community that supports us. As a small, independently owned boutique winery, we are proud to give back when we can, with a primary focus on charitable organizations and causes in our local North Texas community and those connected to patrons of Deschain Cellars.

Like many small businesses, we are navigating a challenging economic environment and rising operating costs while receiving a large number of charitable requests from organizations throughout Texas and across the country. Unfortunately, our resources allow us to support only a small number of these requests each year.

Priority is given to:

  • Organizations and causes located in or directly benefiting our local Gainesville-area community
  • Organizations supported by guests and patrons of Deschain Cellars
  • Causes with an established connection to Deschain Cellars or our Gainesville-area community

Requests from organizations outside our local Gainesville area that do not have an existing connection to Deschain Cellars are generally not eligible for a contribution.

While we are unable to donate alcohol, qualifying charitable organizations may receive a 25% discount on wine purchases. For a limited number of local causes, we may also provide silent auction items such as wine tastings, gift cards, private tours, or other winery experiences.

Due to the volume of requests we receive, we are unable to respond to every submission. If we are able to support your organization, a member of our team will contact you. Please do not call or email to follow up on the status of a request.
