Born in Pennsylvania and shaped by decades in the Texas music scene, Joey Love brings a soulful mix of blues, rock, and R&B to every performance. After moving to Texas in 1979, he found himself in a musical crossroads of blues, reggae, country, and rock influences that still shape his sound today.
A longtime presence on stages across Dallas–Fort Worth and beyond, Joey has spent more than 30 years performing throughout Texas. While he often plays with The Joey Love Trio, his solo acoustic sets have become a standout in recent years—raw, relaxed, and full of blues-driven groove.
He’s shared stages with artists ranging from Etta James and Johnny Winter to Robert Randolph and Wanda King, bringing the kind of seasoned musicianship that turns a casual afternoon of wine into something memorable.
