Our cooking workshops, led by Chef Sheena Croft are collaborative culinary experiences that combine the art of cooking with the enjoyment of wine and community. You will prepare a luncheon meal as a group in our cellar, using shared equipment and ingredients, and then enjoy the fruits of your labor together!
If you have been intimidated by Risotto’s reputation for being one of the harder-to-master Italian dishes, this workshop is for you! Chef Sheena will share her pro tips for making the perfect risotto from rice selection to cooking and stirring times to temperature. The group will be making fresh risotto two ways – creamy wild mushroom risotto, and parmesan risotto cakes with a tomato caper relish and fresh shrimp . The luncheon will also include a light salad, house baked bread and seasonal dessert.
Price includes a welcome toast, an individually paired flight, the workshop and luncheon. Once you find your favorite wine to match your kitchen creation, additional glasses or bottles will be available for purchase.*
