  • Tasting Notes:

Handcrafted right here in our “little winery that could” from fruit sourced from friends in the renowned Lodi AVA. Willem’s Zin is opulent, powerful and full-bodied, brimming with blackberry and black cherry fruit, gliding into a sensuously lingering finish peppered by earthen spices. 100% Zinfandel, Lodi AVA.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

This wine loves a big room, and will work with bold roasted or grilled meats (think pork, veal Osso Bucco or a Texas-sized steak), and is equally at home with a rustic mushroom risotto, red sauce and savory pastas, or big salted cheeses. DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
  • Tasting Notes:

Our Lodi Nebbiolo is a beautiful example of fruit-laden, structured drinkability made in the style of the Old World Piemonte hills from whence it came. Pale garnet in colour, floral notes of rose, tar and mild anise, this wine holds a leathery grip on its cherry and cranberry fruit.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

Willem’s first Nebbiolo is best matched with roasted lamb and mushroom Perrigord truffle risotto. DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
  • Tasting Notes:

This wine simply says “drink me”! Sublime flavours of kirsch and damson plums with more than a little hit of boysenberry, wrapped in a moderately tannic shroud of oregano, violets and toasted vanilla pod… a lingering finish that lasts about three days.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

Your Thanksgiving table, roasted meats such as venison or rabbit, or even lighter asian cuisine wil help showcase this stellar bottling. DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
  • Tasting Notes:

Our Texas High Plains Dolcetto is a beautiful example of fruitladen, structured drinkability made in the style of the Old World hills from whence it came. Warm, rich and inviting, redolent of violets and black plum in the nose, this drop brims with blackberry and cocoa in a medium to full-bodied mouth, moving into a clean peppery finish with lingering mellow tannins.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

Willem’s first Dolcetto is well accompanied by cold and warm hors d’oeuvres as well as by pasta dishes, roasts, white meat and fresh cheeses. DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
  • Tasting Notes:

Classic Tuscan-style Sangiovese, with a little bit of American muscle, this single-vineyard wine drinks a bit like its bigger cousin Brunello. Black cherry and plum, spiced with roast tomato, leather and earth. A great wine to sit and contemplate.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

Beautiful with roasted meats and grilled salmon, our Texas High Plains Sangiovese also works exceedingly well alongside smokey sheep and cow’s milk cheeses, and spicy red sauces. DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
  • Tasting Notes:

Single-vineyard Rosé from the Texas High Plains! Quite pale, dry style (but not too dry!) rosé, packed with beautiful fruit that prances into a crisp and refreshing finish. A true Old World-style porch pounder rosé, perfect for our sizzlin’ Texas summer days! 100% Grenache.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

A hot day, bluebird skies, a glass and good friends! DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
  • Tasting Notes:

A beautiful single-vineyard, single-block wine from the Texas High Plains. Medium bodied (think of Chardonnay without being hit over the head with the oak stick), pretty expressions of fruit – meyer lemon & apricot bound together with beeswax and hints of brioche.

    Food/Menu Pairing:

Crab and lobster pasta make this wine sing! Or sip alongside foie gras pate for a nice afternoon in the sun. DOWNLOAD TECH SHEET
